DOS version

The recent version 3.90 fixes all bugs concerning the Y2K problem. All already entered data in previous versions is correct in most ways except QSOs for February, 29th 2000 because the old version(s) were not able to handle this date. To update all your databases to consistent content, perform the utility function "Rebuild QSO numbers" once. QSOs for February, 29th may then updated manually from whatever date you've used instead.

Version 3.90 525 KB ZIP file - containing the complete program and all (empty) databases
Update 3.7x/3.8x > 3.90 215 KB ZIP file - containing only the program and requires an already installed version 3.7 or higher
Manual (English) 13 KB ZIP file - the manual only to get some information in advance rather than downloading the complete set (the manual is also included in the file above).
Manuel (Français) 12 KB ZIP file - the manual in French to get instructions on the program (the manual is not included in the complete set above).
Upgrade 128 KB ZIP file - the upgrade is only necessary if you're already running a LogIt version below 3.3
BLDX11 107 KB ZIP file - BLDX11.ZIP includes the program BLDX11.EXE for use with the 11m version only.

Under special circumstances, e.g. computer crash or power failure whilst LogIt is open, it may occur that the databases become inconsistent. The main problem are the index files because the database engine will not allow the program to run if one or more indices are corrupt.

The utility rebuilds all indices again so you will be able to enter the program again, probably for further investigation what might have happened to the data.

The program must be copied to the appropriate LogIt directory and executed without any parameters. It will not produce any output on screen; if it has finished, all indices are rebuilt and the work is done.
