Windows version

The actual Windows version 5.0 was released in May 2004 and is a 32 bit application running under Windows 98 SE and above. It will probably also work under Windows 95, but some features may not work properly so it is neither recommended nor tested.

The program comes along with both an upgrade program from the DOS version and a program to import databases from the previous Windows version 4.0. Both programs only imports data into the new version and leave your original version untouched, so you can use both in parallel until you are familiar with the new program.

Also the program Virtual QSO (VQSO) is included, a kind of chat program to communicate with other LogIt users. This program is also available as a standalone program for operators not using LogIt but interested in chatting. Please note that this program is still under test.

Complete setup 4.6 MB - containing the LogIt program, the runtime libraries, all (empty) databases, maps, upgrade and import utilities and VQSO. If you wish to archive the program for later installation or to give it away to other users, this is all what you need.
Web setup 400 KB - only the setup program. All other programs and data are downloaded via the internet during the installation due to your selection of which features you wish to install. To install LogIt, download the program setup.exe and run it.

Please note that you will need a connection to the internet until the installation process is complete. The amount of downloaded data depends on the features you select and is up to the size of the complete setup above.
